Can we please, for fucks sake, normalize being a little late to work?

I was going in my private van, and these two ladies kept nagging the driver that they were getting late for work and the time had already been up. The driver started to panic and stopped in the middle of the road (side), which could've cost him a fine. Moreover, he started driving fast. It is foolish to demonize and instill fear in workers for being late. On top of all of this, there was actual traffic, and the driver made several close calls from hitting another car or another car hitting us. I usually get to work early, but external factors occur. You get up late sometimes, and you miss the bus, the bus comes late, the driver that drops you is stuck in traffic, and your kids need to get ready; there are countless internal and external factors. Yet, we ignore all of them just to keep some…

OF COURSE, YOU CAN BE LATE. It is normal. If you can stay back for company emergencies, you can be late based for your emergencies. Don't put your work after you!
