Can we tweak the Wellbeing questions so the answers make us look good?

After 15 months of recommendation, my work finally agreed to a free 3-month trial of an app to support wellbeing and mental health for staff. The tool includes pulse surveys to check in on how people are feeling, and based on responses to recommend personalised resources that may help. The MD took me off the project, ran her own evaluation, asked the developers to change the questions so answers would always reflect well on her company (including removing any questions about overwork). The irony is that my role is to consult to organisations (and have them pay our company big bucks) for me to stress the importance of transparency, organisational responsibility and reducing stigma around mental health.
