Can’t wait to change jobs but also scared to change jobs

So I just got back from leave and I told my boss prior that I wanted to have more shifts when I come back and he said yes. Now I’m back and I haven’t been scheduled for the second week in a row and I haven’t been told anything despite asking numerous times. I’m currently looking for another job but I’m scared it’ll be just like this one I’ve got now (toxic environment), but I don’t know what to do between now and then…
