I'm sure others have seen this sort of thing before but it's new to me and I found it ridiculous enough to share.
A few weeks ago I applied for a level 3 SOC analyst job. I wasn't terribly interested in the job and when they emailed me back to schedule an interview I figured I'd do it and see what they had to say. They emailed me back to confirm the interview time and attached a list of questions to be answered and a scenario that I was supposed to prepare a presentation on and submit no later than 24 hours before the interview.
I emailed back almost immediately to tell them I wasn't interested.
