So my friend works at one of the major supermarket chains here, and he had a 6 hour shift to complete. The silly lad ate a couple tabs of Acid the day before, and god knows what they actually were but they lasted a helluva lot longer than normal acid. They didn’t wear off and was still peaking when it came time to go to work. He was stacking shelves and the isles began moving in on him and the containers were talking to him, he freaked out, left his cart there, and literally ran home. He got in the next day and of course management pulled him in. They were ready to give him a written warning for just going home without telling anyone. Scrambling for answers, this mad lad, pulls out a big brain move. “So why do you think it’s okay to just go home whenever you…

My former team lead is an asshole
A couple of days ago I had a final meeting with my direct supervisor who is also the team lead. I quit after a series of verbal conflicts with my DS and he handed me my employment termination proposal and said that he discussed with HR and decided to end out contract and good terms, which means that I am entitled to a “severance” equal to one month's salary. A few days later I find out that the company has to pay severance to anyone who is let go. But that asshole had to make it look like like he is doing me a personal favor. Are all managers sociopaths or is it just me?
She lives near Tampa, FL. She was paying $675 for a trailor while being on SSI. She's lived here for about 10 years and they've let the place go to a slum, the roof is full of black mold because they refused for fix it took them ages to just fix the leak. Just recently told her that her rent would increase to $1100 in April and the landlord hasnt dont any sort of repairs. She'll be moving regardless because it'll be better for her health but is there anyone I can call to get back at this shitty landlord? Because this seems so wrong. And unfortunately she's not one a lease.
I’m so done with this job. I’ve worked here for years and have never had trouble getting hours. I usually have problems getting too many hours, being that I’m a college student and need time to study. I took two months off after I had a surgery and I just can’t get any hours now. They schedule me 12-15 hours a week, and now that I’m running out of the money I had saved for my time off I can barely pay my rent, let alone eat anything other than ramen (and Burger King. It’s not free but I steal lol). I can’t go a day without someone texting me and asking me to come in because we’re short staffed. I’m usually in class or doing other things (because it’s, you know, my day off) but sometimes I’m glad to pick up hours. My scheduler tells me it’s because they’re…
I’m 19 and my co worker is old( idk like between 50 and 70) she is constantly in trouble for starting shit with other coworkers and having a nasty attitude. She constantly goes out of her way to say rude and unnecessary things to people. She’s already been talked to by the team lead about it. I’ve been working with her more than usual this week and she makes sure to give me all of the unwanted tasks. Including but not limited to, taking pallets to the back, taking back cardboard, capping bins in the back of the freezer, and always always making me run the difficult freight. And to top it off she talks to me like I’m stupid and tells me really obvious things over and over like I’m doing it wrong. (I’m not) Yesterday someone spoke to her the way she spoke to me and she was…
