So in Hungary teachers are planning a big strike cause of unpaid overtime , and low pay. Here there is a thing callled “minimum service” meaning strikers cant just stop working completely in some areas like education. There was an ongoing legal struggle to determine the minimum service as teachers only want to offer sitter service but government wants them to keep teaching. Now they used their extra right gained by covid emergency and decided on the minimum service through an edict, going around the actual laws. Teachers have to look after kids in their own classroom, hold all exam subjects (like maths) and hold 50% of non exam subjects (like art) Baiscally striking has been banned in hungary for teachers. Ode to the trauma
Y’all ever have arguments in your head with past bosses who have traumatized you? I quit a job March 2020 with an overweight old Italian boss who loved to scream at me and still now am defending myself in my head to him real dumb.
Just the title. When a man works hard for his wife that is his choice. That does not give him the right to abuse and manipulate the women into doing whatever he desires. The same should be for employers. Just because you pay someone for their time does not mean you can lay out the boundaries for what is and isn't ok. I live with my parents a 2 minute drive from my work and my mum (f53) was really lovely and picked me up for my break. I thought I should probably test just in case it was covid, expecting nothing of it. I was hungry, and knew you can't eat before doing a covid test, so I did one pretty much as I got in the door so that I could eat and have time to relax on my break (I have ADHD so the restaurant environment can be very overstimulating). The test came back instantly and strongly positive. I stayed calm and tried calling the deputy manager (m28?) on duty at the time to let them know,…
Sick pay is £19 a day. “Hey I can't live of £19 a day, can you change that seeing as you're making me stay at home by law” UK government “Ok we will end isolation requirements and you can go back to work” No. Not like that.
