I recently graduated from school and was able to get a job right away. I’m currently four months in and my job duties are nothing like what was asked for in their job post. I don’t think they intentionally mislead me about the position, but I’m not sure that makes it any better. I’m not even really getting to make use of my degree. I talked with my boss, and they agreed we can transition some of my duties to better align with what I thought the job was, but it will take some time. Part of me wants to interview at other places, so I can actually make use of my degree. I don’t hate my current position even though it’s not the job I thought it was. What should I do?
