My work uses ADP and I was attempting to do some budgeting with payday being this Friday. I noticed it said my rate was 16.50…when the last wage agreement I signed bumped me up to 19 an hour. I've worked here for a year and got a substantial raise, and then joined the onboarding team for the additional dollar.
I emailed hr and sent them a pic of my statement but I'm not expecting much more than a “oops, our bad. You'll see it reflected on your next paycheck”
I feel pretty dumb for not checking earlier. I've been burned before and I tried really hard to look for red flags and keep tabs on everything when starting this job and this caught me completely off guard still; I guess if you read this, go check that you're getting paid what you should.
At least I know my budgeting isn't dismal, I was just planning for the wrong amount.
