Co-worker CC’d CEO and entire company for a small mistake I made.

How would I handle this? I'm two months into the job and still learning much of what is expected of me to do. I've made a few mistakes on three different projects which were all sent back to me today to fix. One of the projects ended up being correct, the other two were a simple, 30 second fix. Mind you, these were minor mistakes that happened for the first time. Stuff I was never taught either. However, this Karen from a completely different department totally blew this out of proportion by CCing the CEO and the entire company when sending the project back. She clearly saw this as an opportunity to power trip and aggressively condescend toward me in front of the entire company. I apologized once, asked the right questions hoping to reassure her, the CEO and the rest of the company that I learned from my mistake…

I apologized once, asked the right questions hoping to reassure her, the CEO and the rest of the company that I learned from my mistake and for whatever reason, she couldn't let it go. She just followed up with more of the same crap after I responded and from there, I just ignored her.

There are a few things though that concern me:

  1. She willfully CC'd the fucking CEO and entire company over a minor mistake she could of fixed or politely informed me about without impunity
  2. NOBODY SAID A SINGLE THING TO HER ABOUT IT!
  3. I just bought a house and for now, depend on this job. If for whatever reason she has influence in who to retain or release, I can't imagine me being on the retain list. So, I applied for three jobs today and will everyday until I find work and can leave this one.

I have absolutely zero patience for this kind of behavior yet, I don't want to stoop to her level as well. I do want to take advantage of this situation. I think I can get her to do my work by enabling her.

Here's the plan:

I was thinking about bombarding her now with every question I have regarding every project I get now that she's going to assume control over me. By inviting her to talk down to me and treat me like shit, I get her to do my projects because in her mind, this is the biggest flex. If something fucks up, it's on her because I'll have everything in writing.

How would you handle this?
