Come to Japan, Americans!

Ever since I joined this sub I've seen a lot of people struggling to even survive, but this is not the case in Japan! I will tell you why you ought to consider moving to Japan. Although mind you, this is for those who struggle to survive, not for those who wish to be paid more for your profession because America is still the best place for working for the high-skilled Everything here is really reasonable I see American housing market really is bubbling up to the point you can't even have a roof over your head, and I assume it's because the capitalists all over the world are investing heavily in it but Japan never had and will not have that kind of problem. Everything here is really reasonable

I see American housing market really is bubbling up to the point you can't even have a roof over your head, and I assume it's because the capitalists all over the world are investing heavily in it but Japan never had and will not have that kind of problem. With all the frequent natural disasters those capitalists have no intention to invest in Japanese soil, and for example I live in a decent one-room apartment for $240 in Tokyo 10 minutes away from the very center of it. I'm a college student and work for 15-20 hours a week and I still got time and money to spend on what I like to do and I haven't received a single allowance from my parents. I say we are blessed with many natural disasters I guess. These trends in the US will surely or already hit every developed country but here I am safe for now.

Our terrible work ethics that you might know of is not gonna be your problem

Overwork culture here is real, many of the workers here are exhausted, devastated and sometimes they work to death unfortunately. But it’s also a worker’s problem. Japanese education heavily focuses on the concept of how you should work really hard for yourself and for society, and many of us really have the mindset of “I quit and I fail everything” and the companies take advantage of it. But it’s not gonna be your problem because you are not influenced by it and you have every right to quit on the spot just as you do in the US.

You can avoid language barriers

Here we have McDonald's, Amazon and all the multi-cultural corporations in the world which pay you relatively well here and all is well if you speak English. And younger generation is getting more and more fluent in English.

Weak Japanese Yen

1 dollar is worth 130 yen now. I don't know how long it lasts but if you decided to move here today you will have a really good booster for your new life.

That's all. Have a good day!
