I work for a CA startup and earn about $300k/yr. A significant portion is RSUs and the company works me to the bone. Long hours and the occasional Saturday feature deploy is needed. But I am learning a lot.
I am single and looking for a change of scenery. I applied to a UK company in my field in London. They will pay for my flight and offer 7 weeks paid vacation. It’s a code maintenance role, so much more laid back. Problem is that it is a quarter the salary. It’s been a dream to live in London, but I am concerned of the low salary and that I won’t be able to live comfortably. Thoughts?
