After moving on to another shop,I only had one request “please keep me away from anything running uv coating. It melts my skin. Well, last week that’s all I worked with. After everyone knew what it would do to me. It did just that and both my arms are covered in rashes and my right wrist has blisters that continually form and burst. Work sent me to the clinic today. The nurse was taken aback. I explained that it’s happened quite a few times and it’s extremely painful but this is the least it’s ever been (last time was more than a year ago,I had third degree burns on my leg that I still have a scar from. Doc comes in and completely disregards what I say. Loads me up on steroids and antibiotics. Tells me and my HR I’m fine,it’s not a burn and that I need to wear long sleeves at work and have no restrictions except staying out of the heat. My shops 95 degrees minimum. I was then told “that’s life” to my level of pain and uncomfortableness. All I wanted was 2-3 days off. She called HR for me. I then recalled them after seeing her and said I’ll be in Wednesday. Please any advice would be appreciated. I don’t know what to do and they’re not going to cover anything, even the time I spent on the clock at their doctor.
