companies really should start considering gas cards

I'm in a metro area but the public transportation is meh. Uber/Lyft prices have skyrocketed. I'm 30 and never in my life have I seen gas over $3.50 here in my life and it just broke $5. My job is 8 miles up the road and yet I'm still spending $70 a month in gas. They have the capability to allow us to work from home but won't allow it. They also don't offer four 10 hour shifts. I have coworkers that live 20 miles away so I hate to complain because I know they're the ones really feeling these gas prices. Something needs to change though. It costs my bf $400 a month to get to work now and I swear the gas is diluted and not getting me as far as it used to and my friends have noticed it as well with their vehicles. It's too fucking…
