So I’m talking to a supervisor where I work (Fortune 100 company), and we’re talking about how somebody was offered the opportunity to either quit or get fired. This individual chose to quit.
Now, I go, “Why wouldn’t he just get fired and collect unemployment.”
Supervisory says, “[Company Name] doesn’t do that.”
Huh? Is this a thing? I thought if you get fired for something besides outright breaking rules, you can apply for unemployment benefits through the government.
Kinda curious on this… for a friend, hehe.
