This was brought to my attention by 5 former employees who had inaccuracies in their screenings and verification. Supposedly, the company believes the issue of every employee being coded with a start date of this year has been fixed in employee screenings and verifications. I have no insight whether potential jobs did a screen nor if my information is accurate. Yes, I could reach out to the company but I'm certain they would say it was always correct – even though they had my title wrong in separation agreement (I had them change it), and my information was also incorrect for unemployment.
With it possibly being corrected now – is there a way I can find out if I was affected by incorrect information the past few months with potential employers and/or if the information was inaccurate at any point? (Additional ways outside of state unemployment agency)
What is the best way to ensure the information is accurate now rather than simply taking their word for it?
