I've been working at a call center from home for about 3 months now, not counting training, and I know it's not really an excuse but my adhd makes it hard for me to remember things, and so 3 days this pay period I forgot to clock in for 5 hours until I went to take my break.
So the next days I changed my times accordingly, as whenever you clock in it asks if your previous times are correct and allows you to edit them.
And today my supervisor messages me.
“I see you have changed your times for these dates. I'll need a screenshot of the chats where you asked to do this.”
“Oh well I was unaware we were required, what's going to happen here?”
She then explained the times would be reset to when I initially clocked in.
Sounds reasonable until I realized, the program we take calls in, logs our time we're in it as well!
I'm being cheated out of about a day and a halfs wage. And they even have record of me working, but since it isn't in the time keeping app, they aren't acknowledging it. I'm just pissed and don't think there's anything I can do about it.
