This is a follow-up on another post I have made here. Since asking my previous questions, I've been “fired” (lol) and am now being threatened for not giving up the password to the local admin account on the laptop I used. We were never given credentials to sign into a web browser to complete our work, so I had to use my personal. I do not want to give up the local admin password because she would then have access to my google drive and chrome that I was denied permission to sign out of before leaving. I have signed out from all devices and changed the password from my personal, but the thought is still scary based on the previous post. All of the company files are stored on a server so she still has access to all of her business files and I no longer have access to company files of any type, not even my own company's QuickBooks file.
Am I legally obligated to give her the password to the computer? I know it would be easy to do a windows recovery and factory reset, so what's with the harassment?
