Company Requiring Me to Sell for another Store/Associate

Recently the retailer I work for has started requiring sales associates from other stores to turn over sales of certain brands to associates in competing stores to inflate sales for that particular brand in that store. In doing so the employee passing on the purchase forfeits a substantial sale addition on their SPH (Sales Per Hour) goal and also commission for that purchase amount.

My team and myself have been given a goal of 10 items in the $400 range to pass off to another store in our district. We will not get credit for these sales and are also expected to provide the full name, address, and credit card information of our top clients who may be willing to purchase said items.

This is obviously unethical of my company, and would be unethical of me to provide my clients information to a complete stranger. It would also be a horrible sales tactic, as I’m sure the employee of the other store would attempt to contact my client for future sales.
BUT is this legal? Do I have any true recourse to opt out of participating? Help!!
