Today we had a company wide big event for people who have worked for more than 3 years in the company. It was hyped so much with organiser asking who all will be present in office for a surprise. Many rsvp'd and attended office today for this. We are still transitioning to hybrid model.
We had 1 hour long townhall with company head and in the end they informed that since count is huge (1100+) they will be sending certificate by email. Also the refreshments were finished and everyone didn't get to eat.
I spent 2 hours in traveling hoping would receive something (my mistake) only to be told this.
I'm now wondering why I attended the stupid celebration.
