So I work at a company that sells food wholesale and you can go in the store in the cafe and buy stuff and put it in the fridge and Freezer until you leave.
I had like 10 mins to kill So I went ahead and got the food out and showed my receipt to the guard and put the food in my car. But my work has your own key tag to scan to get in and get around work to open doors. So I went in behind someone else not wanting to let them know I went to my car while on the clock. So I get in and the guard ask me if I have my tag. I told her yeah and she said I had to go back out and scan it then come back in. She said it’s in case of fire or emergency. I call bs it’s for tracking to see where your going. Because if you go outside you don’t scan but to come back in you have to so how would they know I wasn’t inside and left if I don’t scan to go out. They use this to catch you from going to your car while on the clock or bathroom breaks they could care less if I’m on fire as long as there product is ok. Or if I scan to go to the cafe just tracking every move we make.
