Im putting this out into the universe I guess for some reassurance and possible help in the future.
For about 3-4 weeks I have been experiencing lower back pain, random spasms/twitches and a noticeable decline in my mental faculties. After a week of just dealing with the pain I went to the ER. They just gave me drugs to dull the pain and sent me on my way.
The next week at the transition clinic I mentioned this and was referred to go back to the ER as I was still in pain and a noticeable difference decline in my mental status. I was just dismissed, given drugs and told to go about my way.
As this was unacceptable I went to a local Family Practice where I was examined and recommended for a neural referral and they took blood. Only 1 of the 2 tests have come back so far. And my referral for Neuro never followed up so I called today. Unfortunately my Neuro appt isn’t until June 28th and I think I might have a spinal injury as I cant sit for more than a few minutes without being in pain. I cant bend or ill be in pain. Ive basically been bed ridden for weeks and Im concerned for my job even though I submitted paper work for short term disability.
If I lose my job we lose everything even though I have insurance to cover this
