I work in a very physical job, and when I arrived for my interview I was told it was 0800 – 1630 Mon – Thurs and 0730 – 1500 on Friday.
I was told there was absolutely no pressure to do overtime, but it was there if I wanted it. (Of course not, duh).
Now nearly 7 months in, I'm being guilt tripped and pressured into working Saturdays too. In this line of work everybody needs 2 days to recover from beating ourselves up all week.
Just kidding all we need is to exceed our deadlines!!!
Oh and they are trying to get us to work from 0700 – 1700 every day now.
Can see myself being unemployed again soon
