Managers LITERALLY ask you to do impossible feats.

OK! We're making sandwiches. Let's go with Ham and Swiss for the example. One loaf of bread makes 2 sandwiches. One loaf of bread weighs 0.50lbs. “Recipe” book says 0.25lbs of Ham sliced thin per sandwich. Book says 2 slices of Swiss cheese cut at setting 2 on the slicer. Manager wants the sandwiches to weigh less than 0.50lbs each… Sandwiches are not sold by weight and are a set price per unit. So am I supposed to cut off part of the bread and throw it away? Completely WASTE it instead of letting someone eat it? Or the other option is to use less meat or cheese which is cheating the customer and not what the corporate sanctioned rulebook says. This kind of thing is what Managers do.
