My manager just asked me to copy him on every email that I send. I’m about 40 years old, and have been working independently and successfully in academia / a scientific office environment since I was 21. 7 years in my current job. Got this manager since 6 months and it’s the first time in my life that I get this question and it feels like he’s searching to find a mistake in my work or that he’s not trusting me. I don’t feel like fulfilling his request will do any good for me. Any advice on what to answer is much appreciated
