Had a director deny my request to transfer to a virtual wfh role. I’m only in the office once a week now but my gf got an offer in a different state so we are trying to move. I told my director he should be ashamed of himself for the response he gave me as to why it was denied and now he’s threading that this could be terms for termination. A) does he have a claim? B) is there any legal reason HR must abide by to allow an individual to go remote?
