Today I asked my boss for a coat of living adjustment for us (3 people). And/or a timeline on when we could expect a raise that has been vaguely promised over the last 6 months. It’s not happening, and no timeline could realistically be offered.. but i did apply to some new jobs all starting much higher than current. I guess it’s true, the best way to get a raise is to get a new job.
