Just got our cost of living increase of 3% – equates to 45p an hour for me. My job requires qualifications and experience so I can't imagine how little the increase is for those lower down the pay scale! My employer is considered one of the good ones but this feels like a bit of an insult when actual costs are spiralling out of control and I'm wondering what else to cut to keep warm this winter.
