could i get in legal trouble for this google review of a past job?

EDIT: i am in colorado, in the US. hey all! i’d just like to give some backstory behind this before i share the content of the review. on mobile, so apologies for formatting! i started working here roughly a month after my 17th birthday, and proceeded to stay for nearly a year. they promoted me to the Shift Manager position after roughly 3 months, which, admittedly, should’ve been a major red flag; however, it was my first job and i was more excited than anything: “[…] through rose-colored glasses, all the red flags just look like flags.” throughout my time at the store, i was continuously worked far beyond the legal hours for a minor, but i never complained because i was content with the pay. however, as time progressed, the pay soon began to not amount to the work that i put in. again, as a minor, i was…

hey all! i’d just like to give some backstory behind this before i share the content of the review. on mobile, so apologies for formatting!

i started working here roughly a month after my 17th birthday, and proceeded to stay for nearly a year. they promoted me to the Shift Manager position after roughly 3 months, which, admittedly, should’ve been a major red flag; however, it was my first job and i was more excited than anything: “[…] through rose-colored glasses, all the red flags just look like flags.”

throughout my time at the store, i was continuously worked far beyond the legal hours for a minor, but i never complained because i was content with the pay. however, as time progressed, the pay soon began to not amount to the work that i put in.

again, as a minor, i was left alone in the store numerous times from, at times BEFORE, when the lobby was locked at 8 PM, all the way until the store closed at 1 AM. i still chose not to complain, as i was ok with the pay that i would receive.

then, one of my other managers (whom we’ll call D) on the shift with me began to display honestly really fucking weird behavior. like, D would “accidentally” feel up on minors, but then he stopped after being called out multiple times. afterwards, he started to just “become friends with” minors (which there’s nothing inherently wrong with) and then take them to strip clubs on their 18th birthdays and convince them to give him lap dances. keep in mind, this dude is nearing 60.

at our store, we would occasionally have up to 3 managers running a shift, and one of the other managers typically on my shift along with D (we will call her C) had started noticing the creepy things that D was doing to the younger girls. so her and i began to gather multiple pages worth of statements from the people that D had harassed- some even allowing us to mention their names in our report.

after spending weeks gathering and formatting this information, as well as putting in nearly 12 hour shifts almost every day, C and i were finally able to secure a meeting with our GM (i’ll just call him GM for ease). we showed him EVERYTHING. we talked to him about EVERYTHING. we had witnesses, names, and exact dates and times; so all GM had to do was check the security footage of the dates & times we provided. instead, GM briefly pulled D to talk to him. he asked D if any of it was true, D said no, and then GM believed him and threw out our reports. the fuck?

throughout the following weeks, C began to have her hours cut HEAVILY, up to the point to where she had to move, and subsequently quit, because she could not keep up with her rent. they refused to give her the ability to come in and work just to force her to quit so they wouldn’t have to pay unemployment.

after she left, i (willingly) picked up a huge workload to make sure that the store would run better because, quite frankly, i was nervous that they would do the same thing to me that they did with C. instead, the Department Manager would choose to come in to my shift EVERY DAY just to degrade and scream at me. however, the crew on my shift actually chose to stand up for me every time because i was “the only manager who care[d]”.

then i worked the past sunday.

D was absolutely OFF HIS SHIT. he came in and immediately started spreading a rumor to the crew that GM was “cutting [my] hours because [i] fuck up too much.”

bro.

D literally does nothing but take 12 breaks without clocking out (despite hypocritically yelling at crew members for sitting down for a minute after 6 hour rushes because they were “running [his] labor,” whilst he sat on his ass and refused to do the grill, so i had to do that while also taking & bagging orders and cashing people out) and harass minors.

i couldn’t deal with his bullshit anymore so i walked out (obviously i waited until we weren’t busy and after everyone took their breaks).

i. walked. out. and i was scared & anxious, but 8 other people have texted me and said that they are quitting too. this store needs to realize that losing nearly 20 people (others left after nothing happened with D (i know this because i was their reference for other jobs)) due to ONE person is something that should be dealt with.

ok so i stopped typing the backstory for my review and ended up just ranting lol, but i just want to know if there is any possibility of me getting in legal trouble for this Google review
