Could Reddit Organize a Worker’s Paradise?

Like, a communal living and working situation, but not the kind of commune people usually picture. As in, not motivated by a particular and exclusive kind of spiritualism, not personality driven, not culty. Just a micro society where the residents all co-own and share in the success of the community. Reddit has huge reach and is full of people with great skills. It would be easy enough to find master carpenters, experienced farmers, mechanics and technicians, etc., who could train other residents as apprentices (other residents who would be free to devote their time to learning those skills). Users would pool money and select a large plot of land to purchase based on the potential for self-sustainable habitation. No one would have to share a dorm-style room with any crusty hippies (unless that’s their thing). Just a happy, community-owned community living life sustainably in support of one another.
