“I also bring in $120,000 per month in gross sales through my online coaching business, which teaches clients exactly what I did to make The Recording Revolution a success.
At 38, I've achieved something incredible: Between my two businesses, I work only five hours per week now, and I get to spend the rest of my time with my family.”
I get what's happening in this article. He's being presented as smart and therefore it's acceptable for him to work 5 hours a week and earn $160,000 a month in passive income. It doesn't disrupt the narrative that if you are suffering financially it's your own fault. It perpetuates that narrative. See he was on food stamps and became a father. So he got off his ass and smartly grew his business to the point where he makes more in a month than you do in two years. He deserves that money and the ability to spend time with his family.
It's bullshit and yes I'm fucking triggered. This is just the millennial version of those late night infomercials about making it by generating passive income. What pisses me off the most is how many people will see a story like this and take away the wrong message. They'll believe that they just need to work smarter and that even if someone is working three minimum wage jobs it's still there fought they are poor because they should work harder. They won't take away from this that we should all have time to spend with our family while doing something we consider our passion and not suffer under unjust economic stress. This is not a good story. This is basically the elite holding up an anomaly telling us not to riot because see you could be like him. It's just your fault that you are not. 🤬
