I don't even know where to post this, but I just have this idea that these radical, conspiracy theory made into real life events, are malicious acts by the richest against this more liberal generations. As insane as they once seemed, these are the ideas that seem likely to me:
1.) Right-wing Christian Nationalist army to complete the coup: want the zealots to stop “fighting abortion” and start fighting the elections? All you need to do is tell them that if the next Dem (hell, “Rhino”) is allowed to take office, they will take away their right to take away a woman's right to choose, or a coache's right to proselytize, or let those gays back out the closet. It'll be Jan 6 on steroids and whichever oligarch (or paid stooge) leads them can then take over the country.
2.) American oligarchs want to force the younger generations away from work reform and back to peeing in a bottle while they make them richer. Capitalism is a death cult in which higher and higher returns can only be stopped when the world is ruined. Today's workers' movement is trying to fight against corporate greed and the pooling of wealth into the hands of a few who are willing to let it all burn. These SC actions seem like drastic reminders of who owns the world and that they're ready to overtly kill you if you get too big for your britches (as opposed to just letting you and your family slowly starve while you give them your best hours and years and force your children to be separated from parents for most their lives)
3.) Russian oligarchs are attempting to break up the US like Russia was broken up into satellite states. I think it's possible that the political figures bought by Russia are trying to make it harder for Americans to stay focused on Russia activities (whether that's Ukraine or even the death of Putin and his replacement trying to keep shit together). Russia has already fiddled with American elections by manipulating the Religious Nationalist, and I think Putin's ultimate revenge would be for the US to crumble into individual states, divided amongst the wealthy and Russian lackeies (and Ginny Thompson).
I guess I'm trying to make sense out of this senseless time — I'm not sure what good it might do except, well, I hope we know who to fight so we can at least not fight in vain. I think the longer we just focus on Rep. Vs. Dem, I worry we waste our punches.
