couldn’t it actually be done?

I can't get my head around the fact that there are such rich and economically/technically strong countries, that still can't afford to end wage-slavery and poverty… I mean: pay the people a UBI that sustains a healthy living. replace all taxes with a transaction-fee on ANY transaction within the market to finance the UBI tax automation extra with the average cost of the manhours, the machine replaces have a national health service that provides free basic healthcare for everyone If a country can afford lowering taxes for their biggest economical players, while cutting benefits and/or social security programs, something is wrong with the priorities of the government… Makes me mad to see people getting worked sick and then just laid off as “not able to handle the workload”… Seriously, wtf? Did I get the numbers wrong? It's 2022, not 1922, right?
