COVID Testing facility refuses to pay Covid relief pay

Leaving my current job for numerous reasons but the most recent one is that i got Covid, the job required i take a test and pay out of pocket, and since i got a positive result, i had to take a week off – without pay… i got exposed to this while on the job, yet they don’t protect their workers from this risk, but actually kind of punish them financially for getting sick…
