COVID/Working From Home

I recently had COVID and missed almost a whole week of work. I had reached out to my manager asking if I could do some work from home so I do not miss out on pay. I got completely ignored. I come back to work to find a coworker is currently out with COVID and she is working from home. I immediately piped up and said “wait coworker is working from home?” To which the manager replied “well she was working on a project”. We're all working on projects. Every day. Can this be considered discrimination or anything along those lines?
