Coworker assaulted by member, club does nothing

On a throwaway for obvious reasons. I work at a country club, and the other day a co worker was physically assaulted by a member of the club at a bar down the street, punched in the face multiple times and choked out, because my co worker “gave him a dirty look”. He had to go to the bathroom then the member followed him in, and then assaulted him. This same member who assaulted my coworker has a past of sexually harassing female employees at the club. One instance the guy was with his 13 year old son and said to him in front of the waitress so she could Hear “some day she is gonna be your step mom”. He also asked her to come over to his condo in the club. This waitress is at least 30 years younger than him. She reported the guy and absolutely nothing…

Hear “some day she is gonna be your step mom”. He also asked her to come over to his condo in the club. This waitress is at least 30 years younger than him. She reported the guy and absolutely nothing happened, hence why the guy has continued to overstep boundaries.

It’s been a few days since the assault, the management is aware of what happened, so far it seems no action has been taken. My co worker filed a police report on his own.

Hopefully the club will punish this guy for what he has done in the next couple days. If they try to let him off the hook scott-free, I will name drop the country club.

Stuff like this is why nobody wants to work in restaurants anymore.
