My boomer coworker (a social worker no less) has told the same Cinco de Mayo joke about 5 times today. Something to do with the Titanic and mayonnaise. She’s so cringe. I’ve seen her ask two different Black women to touch their hair. She regularly pretends to be intellectually disabled and limps around acting like her arms are disabled and talking incoherently. Once, a group of us social worker’s we’re talking about harm reduction program’s and she chimed in that she doesn’t believe in them because they are “socialism.” When I pointed out that she is a Social Worker who daily works under principles of socialism she Yelled, “I am a Christian and it’s my job to bring these people to Jesus!” Lady, it literally is not!!!!!! We both got called to the supervisor over that one. This is why I want to work from home….
