Cracks in the Foundation. Corp PTSD

Just overheard an employee at my company say the following after she got in the shuttle to get to campus (slightly paraphrased): “I'm riding the shuttle again because people complained that I got a parking spot, but you know what? I'm not mad. I get to see all your smiling faces again.” There's limited parking spaces in the corporate lot and there's a remote lot where employees who don't have an assigned space have to park and then take a provided shuttle or walk. This is at least 5 blocks or more away. First, there's enough empty spaces in the main lot to accomodate more employees and second, I would not allow myself to be browbeaten and grovel like that. Corporate America truly is hell.
