Cutting a contracted shift

I am a new mother and work in a particularly large popular company for 2x 5 hour contracted part time shifts and 1x casual 5 hour shift. Yesterday I heard rumours that one of my contracted shifts is being given to someone else with no work from the manager. I’m not sure if it’s true, if the shift is being moved to a different department etc. With my baby I’m not particularly flexible and they know that, we agreed on these contracted hours before I came back from leave. Today I’m going on to ask if it is being given up. Is so; why, have I done something wrong?, will this shift be immediately replaced in a different department etc. I’m going through the EBA before I go to make sure I’m on the right path. Is there anything else I should be asking? Are my questions appropriate?. It doesn’t…

It doesn’t seem like much but I need that shift in particular for my family and to keep on top of things.

TIA
