I don't work for CVS, but I was there trying to get some comfort food and I was talking to the cashier when a non-service dog walks in and starts barking. I made a comment about how they're allowed to ask two questions to determine if that is a service dog and the employee tells me that there's an internal policy that keeps them from asking that.
she also brought up that she had to fight for her wages and raises bc she was the lowest paid manager on the team. I know this country sucks (USA baby ) but this the first time I've had a conversation about it with someone about it. as I get more and more into the inequalities between the working class and corporations, it still gets me every time. it really makes me remember just how privileged I was growing up, but also how oblivious I was.
anyways. thanks for letting me rant.
