So hello! I recently put in my notice for the childcare center I worked for. My notice was until next week but I have since been exposed to positive cases of covid and am following CDC and department of health guidelines of staying home for the 5 days. I am considered unvaccinated because I having gotten my booster yet. I started to show some symptoms shortly after finding out but tested negative. Long story short, I told the workplace that I don't want to risk anyone getting sick, especially the children, by coming back to finish my notice. My boss is now threatening to report me to the local educational center which could prohibit me from continuing my career in education. They also tried to get me to come into work this week disregarding what CDC says which is to stay home for 5 days regardless of vaccination status. Told me to take a rapid test and come work WITH CHILDREN with possible covid.
What can I do? Who can I report them too?
