So I (19f) have worked at McDonald’s before three years ago. A store had an application online and said they’re starting at $16-$18. I was thinking, wow cool and applied. I got hired today. The manager didn’t go over my starting wage. (I have been working since 2019, I’ve had three jobs, and I have my food handlers.) So I called and asked what the starting wage was and some guy said nah they start at $9.50 but with my experience I’ll most likely get 11/12. WTF? False advertisement is just ridiculous 🙁
