I’ve been going through some personal stuff and was out of work last week. I went to work this morning and I was about 4 minutes late. Before I can clock in my manager tells me to go home. After I was told to go home I asked him if I should take my stuff and his response was yeah sure why not.
I called HR to explain my situation and what happened this morning and was told that I quit bc taking your stuff is an indication that you quit. I really enjoyed this job. Should I fight to try and keep my job or should I not collect unemployment bc I quit?
