I was in a situation where I had to let my current employer know I have a disability: they did give me paperwork that asks to disclose the disability. Once I give them the form the nature of my disability will be on file. Would my disability show up on any employment pre-screening for any new potential employers? Or is that strictly kept confidential? I am just afraid once the disability is on file it might affect me getting any new jobs in the future. I am employed in the state of Texas if that helps.
