Discounted pay no longer

I’ve been doing discounted work for the better part of a year. I run an IT department for a 100+ Person company and get paid like a support tech. I started as one granted, but quickly saw some colleagues leave and responsibility’s fall into my lap. Nobody was replaced. Just downsized the department and threw that role onto my lap with no title change or pay increase. I had enough and finally spoke with my supervisor to increase my pay to sync up with the work I’m doing. Interviews and offers are lined up and ready for when I inevitably get denied my asking salary. Jokes on them. They decline my request they will need to figure out how to fill my shoes.
