Discriminatory Interview Questions.

During my interview in [expensive coastal city] in WA., I couldn’t believe the number of red flags. “It’s a family environment & we all help and fill in for each other” Another employee performs all services I’d be hired for, but which are not within the scope of their license “Are you married?” ”Have children?” ‍ “How old are you?” 🫣 “The starting wage in this area is $18” *Job posting listed as $22 My takeaway 1) Basically, they want to ensure that I have no obligations that would get in their way of churning & burning AND/ OR 2) Regardless if the questions are not purposefully discriminatory, I could reasonably expect zero professional boundaries. Can you imagine calling out sick at this place? 🤦‍️
