Hey guys I am in Canada and was wondering if companies/the hotel provider have the right to search your hotel room on a fly in fly out job. I came back from my shift to my hotel room to find a notice that my room was randomly selected for a drug sniffing dog and security to check my room. They said they never touched any of my personal belongings but I feel as though I should have been present for the search as I take my privacy seriously. Any advice on what I can do because I am not happy about this.
