Do I Email the Recruiter?

Ok, so brief backstory. I’m a consultant and I have run my own consulting company for the last 7 years, worked in the field for 12. I do fine for myself, work on projects that I love, and have excellent work/life balance. I keep an eye out for rolls in-house since that would be a good way for me to advance my career, but I’m not in need of a job. I got a call two weeks ago from a recruiter with a company I’d applied to. I took a look back at the role and it’s very vague. She asked me a few questions about my background and experience. I got a call two weeks ago from a recruiter with a company I’d applied to. I took a look back at the role and it’s very vague. She asked me a few questions about my background and experience. I asked about salary. She said she would recommend I go through to the next round, which is one on ones with some people inside the organization. Someone reached out to me and set up two hour-long interviews today.

The first interview was… awkward. I met with a hiring manager. He gave me a history on himself and, eventually, the company. It sounded like they were building a non-specific team of consultants, but he couldn’t tell me any details about the projects. I asked if he could tell me where he thinks my skills would be a good fit, and he said he was hoping I would do that for him. I couldn’t ask many questions, since I didn’t have enough information about the role or the team. It ended early, and I got the “we’ll be in touch” line. That’s just fine with me.

The second interview was supposed to be an hour later. I logged into the meeting a couple of minutes early and waited. 5 minutes after the meeting should have started, no one is there and I have no emails about rescheduling.

This is unprofessional. Is it worth saying anything?
