I requested PTO in December for this May. It was approved and I didn’t think anything else of it. However, when I checked the schedule last week for May because it finally came out. I was scheduled. I contacted my boss who explained it’s my responsibility to find coverage for the days I’ll be gone or I could face disciplinary action. I don’t know what to do because we’re short staffed and most people aren’t willing to cover for co-workers. It’s a whole other issue but it will affect this I’m sure. What are my options?
