This is my first job working full-time on salary, and I'm expected to work overtime sometimes if my boss/other direct reports need me to. I'm personally okay with this so long as it doesn't place me at 50+ hours regularly (unless it came w a pay raise), but is this standard for most salaried people?
Can it be grounds for termination if you don't, and does it look good if you agree to it when it's voluntary?
