My c/unt supervisor has been out since Friday and will be back next week. I was hoping that would mean we in customer service would be free for a whole week to be on our phones and surfing the internet on the computers (when there's downtime, which there is A LOT of), but the HR whore, who usually doesn't come in, has made it a point to come in everyday this week except for today (she has a doctor's appointment today, otherwise she would be coming in) because the other supervisor isn't here and she knows that without their watchful eye people will be slacking off when there's downtime!!! – oh, the horror! What a crime! God forbid we workers get to do something to make the hours pass by faster for us instead of having to make up bullshit to do to look busy! Would it kill them if they just, for this one time, made an allowance just to make us happy rather than being determined to keep us in line?
